Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate: 2026

The Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 46 will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2026 on October 14, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at 14511 Falling Creek Drive, Suite 117, Houston, TX 77014. Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.

Emergency Water Service Interruption – Repairs Underway Until 11:00 PM Today

Please be advised that water service will be temporarily interrupted due to emergency repairs on the water main servicing Timberlake Apartments and the areas between Timber Forest Drive and FM 1960 East.

These emergency repairs are the result of a fiber optic contractor damaging the District’s water line. The repairs are in progress and are expected to last through 11:00 p.m., Friday, 26 June 2026.

You may be currently experiencing low water pressure and/or discolored water. When the water is restored, turn the faucet on and let the water run until clear then shut it off.

Planned Water Service Interruption – October 23, 2025

Dear Customer,

Please be advised that the water service will be temporarily interrupted due to repair on the water main servicing:

  • Cleeve Close
  • Flaxbourton Close
  • Flaxbourton Street
  • portion of Twigsworth Lane
  • portion of Droitwich Lane

This will also affect Timbers Lake Middle School, Eagle Crest Apartments and Porky’s Back Yard.

The repair is scheduled for Thursday Night, October 23, 2025, to minimize the impact on the water users.

The water will be off from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m., approximately six hours.

When the water is restored, turn the faucet on and let the water run until clear then shut it off.
